Service User Contracts

Some of our service users are contracted to us by the NHS Primary Care Trusts or the Social Services department of local governments such as Kirklees Metropolitan Council (KMC). These public sector organisation usually define the terms and conditions of our relationship with them and we invoice them for the care services we have delivered to named people.

Many of our service users pay SureCare directly for the services they receive from us and are classified as private clients even though most receive financial support towards their costs from national schemes such as Direct Payments and the Independent Living Fund.

Details of these national schemes are available from any local authority such as KMC. We will provide further information if required.

Private clients or their representatives sign a contract to accept the SureCare terms and conditions of business which cover topics including the services, charges and other financial issues, information and confidentiality, engagement of the worker by the purchaser, the complaints procedure and cancellations and termination.

A copy of the terms and conditions of a private client contract is available from our Office (tel: 01924 404570) or by emailing our office manager, karen@surecarewy.com.

The private client or SureCare may terminate their contract by giving four weeks notice in writing to the other party. However we seek to avoid the conditions which might lead to either party wanting to terminate.
