CARE STAFF VACANCIES

We have part time and full time vacancies for work in and around the Kirklees area including Huddersfield, Mirfield, Dewsbury and Batley.

As a SureCare carer you have the opportunity to support vulnerable people of all ages and backgrounds in their own homes and out in the community, including when they go on holiday. Some weekend or evening work is normally required.

Our clients include the frail and elderly, children and their families, people with learning difficulties or mental health problems, with physical disabilities or healthcare problems.

If you become one of our carers we will take into account your preferences when deciding the days and times of work that will be offered to you as well as the types of people who become your personal clients.

Successful applicants are expected to be reasonably flexible in the hours they are prepared to work and to have the maturity to support clients who may sometimes present a challenging behaviour.

Comprehensive training is given. You will have to attend a four day induction programme at Staincliffe House and be expected to register for further qualifications such as the NVQ level 2 in Care and Learning Disability Qualification.

Successful applicants will have had a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau check at the enhanced level and we will have received satisfactory references about previous employment.

The work we can offer will be limited unless you can visit clients using your own car.

Pay is competitive for this industry sector. Wage rates are higher for evening, night and weekend work. An bonus is earned in addition each week that the carer has demonstrated reliability.

Competent carers can join a free company healthcare scheme after one year employment.
