Company History

CM Community Services Limited, trading as Surecare West Yorkshire, offers domiciliary, community and healthcare services to people of all ages and backgrounds, including those with impairments.

The company was set up as a sole trader business in 2001 by Dr. Christine (Chris) Hall.  Chris had care experience as a general nurse, a health visitor and as a ward sister before specialising in paediatrics and becoming a lecturer and examiner at several universities. Her husband Malcolm joined the company early in 2002 to contribute his management experience.

Initially a franchise operation the company is now a wholly independent company. Chris and Malcolm are the only shareholders.

The offices and training facilities are at Staincliffe House, Batley which is on a bus route (Halifax Road) about half way between Heckmondwike and Dewsbury hospital. There is a map  on the "Contact Us" page of this website.

The company has the Investor in People quality status. It is an accredited supplier to Kirklees Metropolitan Council (KMC) and is quality approved by the Commission for Social care Inspection (CSCI). The company is audited regularly by both KMC and CSCI.
